Trade Dallas Mavericks should make after landing Kyrie Irving: 1. Land Bogdanovic

Bojan Bogdanovic is one of the most talked about players ahead of Thursday’s trade deadline. The 6’7 forward is averaging over 21 points per game, and he is a playmaker that is capable of defending multiple positions. Bogdanovic was arguably Utah’s best player in their first-round playoff series against the Mavericks last season.

Can Dallas acquire him before the deadline? The Pistons are telling other teams that he is not available, but that could just be a tactic to ensure they get a first-round pick for the veteran. Here is a deal that could benefit both sides.

The Pistons add Tim Hardaway Jr. and a first-round pick from Dallas. THJ could be a key shot-maker next season as Detroit looks to get back in the playoffs with Cade Cunningham healthy. They will add another high lottery pick in this year’s draft, and they would be able to flip the first-rounder they acquire from Dallas to give them more help this offseason.

Bogdanovic would be a fantastic fit on the Mavericks next to Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. Dallas must improve their defense, playmaking, and rebounding before the deadline. Bogey is likely the best player they could land, but will the Pistons part with the talented veteran?
