The 2023 NBA Draft is less than two months away, and the anticipation is already beginning to build. Victor Wembanyama headlines the class, and he is the most hyped prospect since LeBron James. The number one pick will not be set in stone until after the draft lottery takes place on May 16, but all 14 teams are dreaming of winning the chance to select Wemby.
The Dallas Mavericks are just hoping to keep their pick. Their first-round selection is top ten protected, and the Mavs finished with the tenth-worst record. They have a 79.8 percent chance to keep the pick, and they must improve their roster this summer. The draft lottery will be a massive night, but Dallas still has to maximize the pick if they keep it.
