The Dallas Mavericks have silenced the early-season doubters who thought they were pretenders rather than contenders as they have won 11 of their last 12 games and seven in a row. They are playing their best basketball of the season right now, and a large part of that is due to them slowly getting healthy.

While the pesky locker room sickness won't leave them around, Luka Doncic has returned to the lineup and is playing at an elite level. Doncic has dropped back-to-back triple-doubles over the last two games and is moving great and playing with great pace.

While players like Doncic and Kyrie Irving are playing outstanding right now, some others are struggling, and that could lead to them getting moved before the NBA trade deadline in February. Maxi Kleber has already been in trade rumors over the last few weeks, and Dallas could look to move him as he has this year and next year remaining on his contract.

Kleber looks to be the biggest trade candidate on the team right now, but you can never rule anything out with Nico Harrison. He is always looking to get better, and he is known for making midseason moves to bolster Dallas' roster before the playoff push.

That trend could continue into this season, and a new group of players will be eligible to be traded starting on December 15. Free agents who signed with teams over the offseason can be traded after this date, and the Mavericks have several guys who can potentially become free game for team's around the NBA if they wanted to trade for them.

Spencer Dinwiddie

The Mavs signed Spencer Dinwiddie to a one-year deal over the offseason, and he is someone Dallas could look to use if he somehow falls in the rotation behind Jaden Hardy and Dante Exum once he returns. Dinwiddie has been playing excellently lately, and it seems unlikely that they trade him, but he is even aware that he may not be in the rotation at some point this season.

His role of being able to fill in and play big minutes or play a deep reserve role is something that he seems to be accepting with open arms, and his 3-point shooting has been major in his success so far.

Markieff Morris

Despite the deal not happening until late in the offseason, the Mavs signed Markieff Morris to a one-year deal for him to return and continue being one of the biggest vocal leaders on the team. Morris is seemingly always sitting in the first seat on the bench next to the coaching staff or standing up and encouraging his teammates.

Due to Morris not getting much playing time, it seems unlikely that a team outright pursues him. He could be traded to help fill salary, but the Mavs love having him around.

Klay Thompson

Klay Thompson's start to the season hasn't been as explosive as some people thought it would have been, but his early time in Dallas hasn't been as bad as people think. Thompson signed a three-year deal with the Mavs at the beginning of free agency, and his production should increase as time goes on.

If the Mavs happen to be worrying about his slow start in which he is shooting a career-low 36.6 percent from three, they could look to trade him in a few weeks, but that seems unlikely. Dallas is typically patient with these types of things, and Thompson is too elite of a shooter to give up on this quickly.

Naji Marshall

Naji Marshall has been excellent in his role for the Mavs this season, and he is averaging 11.6 points per game while shooting 54.4 percent from the field. His floater has been unstoppable so far this season, and his defense is superb as well.

Marshall signed a three-year, $27 million deal with the Mavs over the offseason, and this contract is looking like it is going to be one of the biggest steals in the NBA. He would have excellent trade value if the Mavs did decide to move him as he is only 26 years old and an amazing role player, but it would make no sense for Dallas to move on.

He brings needed ball handling and defense, and he's just getting started.

All four of these players seem like they will be sticking around past the February trade deadline, but anything can happen in the NBA. Harrison and the Mavs may be eyeing a big move to make them undeniable NBA Finals contenders, and that could come at the expense of one of the aforementioned players.
