The Dallas Mavericks host the Charlotte Hornets in their final preseason game on Oct 12, and here is how to watch that contest.

The Dallas Mavericks wrap up their preseason slate on Friday evening.  The Mavs have won two of three this preseason including a contest against the CBA’s Beijing Ducks and two games played in China.  They host the Charlotte Hornets to wrap things up.

The Mavs will be without the services of Dirk Nowitzki and Harrison Barnes dealing with injuries on Oct. 12.  The team has also experienced some sickness in their return from China that could impact a number of players.  Ryan Broekhoff and Kostas Antetokounmpo missed practice on Thursday and should be considered questionable for this game.

The Hornets look healthy for this contest and the beginning of the regular season.

Here is all the information fans need to watch the Oct. 12 game between the Dallas Mavericks and the Charlotte Hornets.

Matchup to follow- DSJ vs. Walker

The battle of starting point guards should be a treat to watch for as long as they play on Friday evening.  The Mavericks Dennis Smith Jr. matches up against All-Star and perennial 20 points per game scorer Kemba Walker.  Both men are not stand out defenders which could create some exciting action for fans tonight.

Final thoughts

The Dallas Mavericks host the Charlotte Hornets in their final preseason game on Oct. 12.  Fans will have their first opportunity to see Luka Doncic against an NBA team in the American Airlines Center.  The Hornets likely match up Nicolas Batum on Doncic.  Expect something special from the 19-year-old this evening.

DeAndre Jordan is expected to return and play starter’s minutes against the Hornets.  He faces an underrated defender in Cody Zeller, but Jordan could have a massive night on the glass.  It will be fantastic to have him back in the lineup.
