3. Brandon Miller

Last rank: 3

Brandon Miller has continued to score the ball at an elite rate despite having a mid-month slump in March.

While Miller has played great over the last two months, his team has not. In a mid-February stretch, the Charlotte Hornets won five of their last six games, but since that stretch, the Hornets have failed to get any big-time wins.

Despite Charlotte struggling to win many games, they have positioned themselves nicely for a great draft pick in this upcoming draft. They have also found generational talent with Brandon Miller and assuming their superstar LaMelo Ball can stay healthy, they could make a playoff push as soon as next season.

Miller has surprised many with his fantastic play to finish the season off. There are still a few weeks left in his rookie season, but Miller has all but locked up a First-Team All-Rookie award. Assuming Miller can finish the season out strong, he may even compete with Chet Holmgren for second place in Rookie of the Year voting.

On Monday night, Miller led his team in scoring with 24 and even grabbed eight rebounds. Despite the loss, Miller has been putting up performances like this all season long and has gotten even stronger as the season has progressed.

The Hornets will likely look to continue losing as they try and position themselves for a good draft pick in this upcoming draft. But the team should hold their heads up high knowing they've established a young core around their rookie.
