3. Brandon Miller

Last rank: 3

Brandon Miller has continued to lead the Charlotte Hornets to wins and in the scoring department. Miller has also shown zero signs of slowing down despite having new weapons around him after the trade deadline.

Miller has continued to be one of the most consistent rookies of his class, which is why he has stood pat in the third spot for so long in the rookie rankings. Miller hasn't just been one of the most consistent rookies of his class, but he has also become one of the best scorers in the league.

Over his last five games, Miller has scored over 20 points in four of the five games and even managed to score 26 points against the Toronto Raptors. Against Toronto, Miller recorded a double-double with 26 points and 10 rebounds.

Since the trade deadline, Miller has become one of the Hornets' rare leaders and has proven to be a piece you can build around. Since the trade deadline, the Hornets managed to get on a four-game winning streak and seemingly turned their season around after making multiple moves.

Since the All-Star break, Charlotte has returned to the mean and only gotten one win. Despite their recent struggles, they have found pieces that will be pivotal throughout the rebuilding process.

Miller and the Hornets will look to get their season back on track with a win over the Detroit Pistons. If the Hornets can beat Detroit, this will be just their second win since returning from the All-Star break.
