NBA Rookie Power Rankings: Brandon Miller skyrockets, who falls?
By Jaren Boslow
3. Brandon Miller
Last week's rank: 4
After a recent three-game 20-point streak, Brandon Miller will rise from the No. 4 spot in this week's rookie rankings.
Miller has been on an absolute tear in recent weeks and shows no signs of slowing after dropping 28 points against Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the OKC Thunder. Miller has now extended his 20-point streak to three games in a row, and just a week before that, he had another four-game streak of 20-plus points.
Alongside LaMelo Ball, Miller has become the sidekick that Hornets fans have been begging for. The lengthy forward has finally broken out of his shell, and fans are eager to see how much more he can build as his career progresses.
The former Alabama standout has finally found his stride within an NBA system and has played uber efficiently while doing it. In the loss to the Thunder, Miller finished the night with 28 points and shot an astounding 62.5 percent from behind the arc in that game.
Miller has also continuously improved on the offensive end of the floor. Since coming into the league, the 21-year-old has always put on a show with his performances but hasn't done it efficiently. Alongside Ball, Miller has found a new resurrection on the offensive end and has played efficiently on both ends of the floor.
The Hornets' next game will be against the offensive juggernaut, the Indiana Pacers. Miller will be expected to take a huge workload if the Hornets are to have any chance of winning on their home floor.
