4. Brandon Miller

Last week's rank: 4

Brandon Miller has been on a tear this week but will remain in fourth place in this week's rankings.

Miller and the Hornets finally seem to be on the right track. After going 2-2 in the four games played last week, they finally seemed to have caught their stride halfway through the season. After missing multiple games in the week prior, both LaMelo Ball and Miller seem to be working well off of each other.

For Miller, his play finally seems to contribute to wins. He's averaged 24 points through this four-game stretch and doesn't show any signs of slowing down. For the Hornets, the duo of Ball and Miller is a sight for sore eyes. The two haven't played many games together, but they have already created a lethal duo.

After trading guard Terry Rozier to the Miami Heat, The Hornets seemed to be in full rebuild mode. They could still trade some pieces that they don't deem fit their timeline. However, for the time being, they have been winning games.

Health has been an important thing for Miller. If he and Ball can stay healthy, the two can only build on what already looks like a scary duo.

During last week's slate of games, the Hornets beat the Minnesota Timberwolves on their home floor. Wolves forward Karl-Anthony Towns went off for 62 points, but the Hornets didn't let that faze them, and they took the game over in the fourth quarter.
