Dallas Mavericks vs. San Antonio Spurs: Injury updates

The Mavs listed Kristaps Porzingis (back) and Sterling Brown (ankle) as questionable for Thursday’s game on the NBA’s official injury report. Both played against the Rockets, but expect Dallas to be cautious on the first night of a back-to-back.

The Spurs have yet to submit an official report as of this writing. Keep an eye out for their statues as tipoff draws closer.

Mavericks fans should be sure to keep an eye on Twitter to see if KP is playing and for any late-breaking injury news that pops up heading into Thursday's game.

Dallas Mavericks vs. San Antonio Spurs storyline to watch: Luka heating up

Luka Doncic has gone for 27 and 26 points and narrowly missed securing a triple-double in the Mavs' last two games, which were both wins. The 22-year-old is heating up and finding his rhythm in new head coach Jason Kidd’s system.

Doncic averaged 29.0 points, 10.0 assists, and eight rebounds against the Spurs over three meetings last season. San Antonio is unlikely to have an answer for Luka, and fans should expect a monster performance from the Mavs superstar.

The Dallas Mavericks are in for difficult tests on Thursday and Friday, so fans should be sure to tune in and enjoy both games.
