The Dallas Mavericks are in Las Vegas cheering on their summer league, but superstar Luka Doncic is continuing his busy summer overseas. He just finished off two wins with the Slovenian National Team to improve their chances of qualifying for the 2023 FIBA World Cup before heading to France for Quai 54.

Doncic was all smiles during the event, and he posted a thank you on his Instagram. He joked with Pelicans star Zion Williamson about their jumping ability and took in an impressive show at the world streetball championships.

Luka even gave an assist to Tyler Currie, so he could win the event’s dunk contest. Here is a closer look at the impressive slam.

The Mavericks superstar was asked to hold the ball, so Currie could jump over him for the dunk. That is no small feat considering Luka is 6’7, but Currie threw down a monster jam that propel him to top honors at the event.

Photos of Doncic smiling throughout the day on July 9 were flying up on social media. It appeared Luka had a blast at Quai 54 in France.

The Mavericks superstar is far from done this summer. He is scheduled to play in two more World Cup qualifiers before leading Slovenia in EuroBasket in September. Doncic will then return to Dallas for training camp. There will be little rest for the 23-year-old superstar this summer, but fans should expect him to hit the ground running to start the 2022-2023 NBA season.

Luka Doncic has been training hard, and he wants to lead the Mavericks to the championship next season. Expect number 77 to be locked in as Dallas looks to build on their run to the conference finals, and stay tuned to The Smoking Cuban for all the latest on the team.
