15. Derek Harper - 17.0

Dallas Mavericks legend Derek Harper lands at the No. 15 spot on this list, and his 12 years on the Mavs earned him a spot in the rafters as his number was retired.

In 872 career games for Dallas, Harper averaged 14.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.8 steals per game while shooting 46.9 percent from the field and 34.7 percent from downtown. He is one of the greatest all-around point guards the Mavs have ever had, and he is still loved by fans to this day.

Dallas drafted Harper with the No. 11 pick in the 1983 NBA Draft, and he helped get the franchise rolling. In his rookie season, Dallas made the playoffs and Harper had a relatively quiet year when it comes to scoring. He averaged 5.7 points, 2.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.2 steals per game, and he made his impact felt in all aspects of the game despite scoring less than six points per game.

He was an outstanding passer and a good playmaker, and his ability to lead the offense was remarkable. He will always be remembered as a legend in Dallas, and now he works for Bally Sports Southwest covering the Mavs.

Harper was selfless in the way he played the game and his decision-making while in the open floor was great.
