The Dallas Mavericks hosted the Denver Nuggets on Nov. 15 in a contest where they were heavily favored. They were coming off arguably their best performance of the season in a dominating win over the Spurs that featured the first triple-double of the season from superstar Luka Doncic. Kristaps Porzingis is finally hitting his stride, and the Mavs were hoping to build on it.

The Nuggets were shorthanded and on the second night of a back-to-back, but topping Denver is never easy. Reigning MVP Nikola Jokic is locked in and puts up an effortless 25 points and ten rebounds every night along with being the Nuggets top playmaker. Aaron Gordon has the size and strength to make things difficult for Luka, and Denver was not shy about doubling on Monday night.

The Mavericks trailed at the start of the fourth quarter, but they quickly grabbed the lead and never looked back in the 111-101 win. Dallas struggled in the second quarter before multiple players stepped up to grab the victory. Here is a closer look at who stood out.

Tim Hardaway Jr. caught fire in the fourth quarter as he scored 13 points to help lift Dallas to victory. He had 19 points on the night, and the Mavs were plus-14 when THJ was on the floor.
