It is almost time for all teams, including the Dallas Mavericks, to start getting ready for training camp. The long and grueling wait for basketball to return is about to end. They will have to make some difficult cuts as the preseason moves along and rosters begin to get finalized.
When the regular season begins, teams will also start looking to see which players bring the most trade value. The Mavericks do have some very interesting trade pieces, to say the least.

Teams have been asking about Josh Green and Jaden Hardy, but Mark Cuban has said they will not be traded. I’m sure teams have realized by now that All-Star and franchise player Luka Doncic is also off the table.

Teams could also call the Mavericks to see if Dante Exum is available if there isn't any playing time for him.
The trade deadline this season for the Mavericks is going to be very interesting. Either the Mavericks are going to be so far ahead in first place and don’t need to make a move, or they will need to make a trade. We'll start with the least valuable players and work up to the most valuable.
