4. Josh Green

Josh Green is one of the Dallas Mavericks' best trade assets at this year's deadline, and he is someone to keep an eye on if the Mavs make a trade for Charlotte Hornets forward P.J. Washington.

It was reported that the Hornets would be interested in Green if the trade talks for Washington progress, but it sounds like the Hornets would also want Dallas' 2027 first-round pick. That is a massive haul for a player of Washington's caliber, and this asking price could cause the Mavs to walk away from these talks.

This season for Dallas, Green is averaging 8.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 0.7 steals per game while shooting 40.9 percent from downtown. Green is having the best 3-point shooting season of his career, and his consistency has also been a strong point as of late.

Before the last few games, Green has been someone who typically follows up a great game with a bad game. He struggled to string together multiple good games, but he has destroyed that notion over the last week or so.

Green has scored 10+ points in four straight games and is shooting the ball efficiently from downtown. If Green can continue to shoot the corner three this well and play with consistency, the Mavs could have a building block for the future in Green.

Don't be surprised if Green appears in some late trade rumors over the next day, but the Mavs aren't shopping him.
