The Dallas Mavericks are entering a massive season in less than two weeks.

After failing to miss the playoffs for the first time since Luka Doncic's rookie year last season, Dallas made all of the necessary moves to return to the playoffs this season.

They drafted their potential new starting center in Dereck Lively II, signed defensive-minded players such as Grant Williams, and added another shooter in Seth Curry.

Dallas improved in every possible way it seems like, but most people seem to be doubting them heading into the season.

Despite the constant doubt, Dallas still has their star duo of Luka and Kyrie Irving intact and according to one of the most notorious trash talkers in the NBA, one of these Mavericks guards is one of the best trash talkers in the league.

If you've watched much of the Mavericks, you'd know that Kyrie doesn't talk much trash, leaving this comment to Luka.

Paul George named Doncic as one of the best trash talkers in the NBA earlier this offseason, and Patrick Beverley said the same in a recent episode of "Actually Me" on GQ Sports.

When naming the best trash talkers in the league, Beverley listed himself, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, and "low key Luka Doncic."

Beverley is one of the most notorious trash talkers in NBA history, and if he thinks Doncic is one of the best trash talkers in the NBA, that is saying something. Beverley always seems to be talking (even when he shouldn't be), and he has embraced that his role is to oftentimes get under the best player on the other team's skin.

Doncic doesn't talk as much as Beverley, but he trash talks if someone talks to him first and doesn't back down from anyone. George even called him "a cold killer" at trash-talking this summer.

If someone makes Luka mad or talks to him first, expect an earful from the Slovenian superstar. When Doncic gets in his zone, anything goes.

Doncic and Irving will look to take the Mavs back to the playoffs this season and elevate this team to new heights. Irving and Luka struggled when on the floor together last season as they went 5-11 together, but the new-look supporting cast should help tremendously.

We'll have you covered with all the latest news on Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, and the Dallas Mavericks this season, so stay tuned.
