The Dallas Mavericks enter the 2024-25 season with as much hype as they ever have.

Dallas' 2023-24 season ended with them going on an incredible run to end the regular season and punch their ticket to the 2024 NBA Playoffs as the No. 5 seed, and their run throughout the playoffs was remarkable.

Dallas took down the LA Clippers, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Minnesota Timberwolves on their way to the NBA Finals, but ultimately ended up losing to the Boston Celtics in five games. The Mavs responded to this Finals loss by having one of the best offseasons in franchise history, and now the organization is giving fans a free look at the new-look squad before their season begins in exactly one month.

Dallas Mavericks to host Fan Jam at October 6

After not having this event last year, the Mavericks are hosting Fan Jam at the American Airlines Center once again.

Fan Jam will be on Sunday, October 6, and the doors open at 11:15 a.m. This will be the first chance for fans to see new players such as Klay Thompson, Quentin Grimes, and Naji Marshall in action, and this has been a fan-favorite event for years.

Fan Jam typically includes a light scrimmage, and this is the perfect chance for fans to get to see the team practice before their first preseason game on the next day.

Free parking for Fan Jam will be in the Lexus Garage and Lot E, and there will also be deals on concessions. These deals include $3 hot dogs, popcorn, and drinks, and there will be giveaways that include Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving autographs as well as tickets to a game next season.

Opportunities like this are rare, so don't miss out, Mavs fans! Make sure to RSVP before the event as there are limited seats available, and be ready to get rowdy, proud, and loud. Players seem to love the chance to get to interact with the fans before the season begins, and this should end up being a good turnout.

This event is an outstanding way to get fans excited for the 2024-25 season, and the excitement around this team is at an all-time high. Although nothing too serious should be taken from Fan Jam considering it is just a fun event, all eyes will be on Thompson as he has the chance to be exactly who the Mavs needed to return to the NBA Finals this season.

Thompson is excited for a fresh start and to be playing for the Mavs, and he should receive a warm welcome from Mavs fans as he steps foot on the American Airlines Center floor as a Dallas Maverick for the first time.
