1. Victor Wembanyama

Last week's rank: 1

Victor Wembanyama has been on a tear all season long, and it was no different this past week as he remains in the No. 1 spot. Last Friday, the San Antonio Spurs reached just their second winning streak of the season with a massive win over the Charlotte Hornets.

During last week's slate of games, Wembanyama looked like a seasoned veteran with his production on the floor. Wemby scored over 26 points in all three games and recorded a double-double in two of the three.

In Monday's loss to the Hawks, Wembanyama dominated with 26 points and 13 rebounds. He also had a great impact on the defensive end as he recorded a game-high five blocks. Despite losing, Wembanyama single handily kept the Spurs in the game throughout the fourth quarter. He created multiple second-chance points and bullied Clint Capela all game long.

In Wemby's last five games, the rookie stud has averaged just under 24 points per game. If he were to keep these numbers up throughout the rest of the season, he could go down as one of the best rookies of all time.

It would be a stretch to believe he can do that for the remainder of the season, but Wembanayma has only gotten better as the season goes along. Wembanyama has not only proven he belongs in the NBA but has also proven to be one of the best rookies in recent memory.

The Spurs' next game will be against the Charlotte Hornets, where they will once again look for another big win. For more updates on Victor Wembanyama, the NBA Rookie Power Rankings, and the Dallas Mavericks, stay plugged in.
