1. Victor Wembanyama

Last rank: 1

Victor Wembanyama has somehow gotten even better after setting multiple records over the last month.

Wembanyama has lived up to every expectation entering his rookie season. The Spurs may not be winning games, but it's not due to Wembanyama. The rookie stud has averaged a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Additionally, Wembanyama leads the NBA in blocks.

After struggling through the first few weeks of his rookie season, he has since shut the haters up and dominated. This domination includes a triple-double during last week's game against the Toronto Raptors.

In the win over the Raptors, Wembanyama didn't just record any triple-double. He denied ten shots and added 27 points in the winning effort. Without Wembanyama, the Spurs may not have won a single game this season.

After recording a triple-double against the Raptors, the Spurs traveled to Dallas to take on their in-state rival. Throughout the first quarter, the Spurs got off to an early lead, and Wembanyama was a huge reason why. However, after a strong first quarter, the Spurs fell apart, and they would end up getting blown out 116-93.

Despite the concerning loss, Spurs fans shouldn't be worried. They are in line to get a great draft pick in this coming draft, and they already have a bonified star in Wembanyama. The future is looking bright in San Antonio.

The Spurs' first game out of the All-Star break will be against the Sacramento Kings. For more updates on Rookie Rankings and the Dallas Mavericks, stay plugged in.
