1. Tim Hardaway Jr.

The Mavericks have shopped Tim Hardaway Jr. multiple times, including at the 2023 trade deadline. Dallas could not find a suitable deal, but that could change this summer.

First, THJ proved he is recovered and fully healthy after his 2021-22 season ended in January with a foot injury that required surgery. The 6’5 wing played in 71 games last season where he averaged 14.4 points and shot 38.5 percent from 3-point range.

Hardaway Jr. is on a declining scale contract that now has just two years and $34.1 million left on it, which makes acquiring him a bit more reasonable.

Most of all, the Mavericks can attach him to the tenth overall pick in this year’s draft or their 2027 first-rounder as a salary-matcher in hopes of getting back a quality rotation player. Tim Hardaway Jr. is the Mav that offers the most production to any team with hopes of contending next season that wants to also land the tenth pick. Will that be enough to complete a trade? It will be fascinating to watch, but it feels like THJ is the most likely Maverick to be traded out of town this summer.
