Last night, the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 120-113 on the road to improve to 14-8 on the season.

Luka Doncic led the way for Dallas as he finished with 35 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists while knocking down five 3-pointers. These five 3-pointers helped Luka achieve another NBA record, as he was the second-fastest player in the history of the NBA to reach 1,000 career threes.

Doncic couldn't be stopped, and he and Vince Williams Jr. were talking tons of trash during the second half of this game. Doncic is someone who is known for his trash talk, and he ended up getting the final laugh as Dallas ended up winning the game.

The part about Luka's trash talking that doesn't get talked about enough, but definitely works, is how he just laughs in his opponent's face at the end of their talking.

This is exactly what he did to Williams Jr. last night, and he also did this to Kris Dunn last week. Doncic even told Williams to look up at the scoreboard last night late in the fourth quarter.

Doncic and Dunn were getting into it during Dallas' win against the Utah Jazz, and while Dunn was clearly frustrated and put his finger on Doncic's face out of anger, Luka just sat there and laughed.

Doncic and Dunn ended up getting technicals out of this (Luka's later got rescinded), and the laughing clearly frustrates his opponents. What could be more frustrating than if someone is outplaying you, talking trash to you, and then laughing in your face?

Doncic's trash talking with Williams also ended with him landing a technical foul, and after the game, he said the refs need to "chill" with giving out these technicals. Williams didn't get a technical last night despite his constant jawing with Luka, and Doncic said he "love(s)" talking trash.

Dallas' next game is tonight against the Los Angeles Lakers.

For all the latest on Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks, stay tuned.
