Kyrie Irving's viral all-time great game winner helps Mavericks defeat Nuggets

On Sunday, the Dallas Mavericks took on the Denver Nuggets at home.
This was a highly anticipated game, as it was between two of the best players in the NBA and best friends, Nikola Jokic and Luka Doncic, and was shown on National TV.
Dallas was coming off a road loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the game before (Doncic missed this game with a hamstring injury), and grabbing a win at home against one of the best teams in the NBA would work wonders for Dallas' confidence.
Kyrie Irving's viral all-time great game winner helps Mavericks defeat Nuggets
In a back-and-forth contest, the Mavericks defeated the Nuggets 107-105 to improve to 39-39. While Doncic dominated, finishing with 37 points, nine rebounds, and three assists, all eyes are on Kyrie Irving for his late-game heroics that earned Dallas the win.
With 25 seconds remaining, Doncic drilled a three to tie the game at 105. Denver could hold for one final shot.
Rather than letting the clock run all the way out before taking a shot, Jamal Murray shot early and missed a pull-up jumper, allowing Dallas to call a timeout with just under three seconds remaining.
This timeout advanced the ball, and Maxi Kleber inbounded the ball to Irving. After taking a couple of dribbles to the middle of the floor, Irving shot a left-handed floater from beyond the right elbow and buried it at the buzzer.
The American Airlines Center erupted, and Irving once again proved that he is one of the best closers of all time. Once the game hits the fourth quarter, Kyrie takes his game up a notch, and it was evident with this insane shot to defeat the Nuggets. Irving finished with 24 points and nine assists.
This type of win can instill confidence that lasts for the rest of the season, and the Mavs will look to carry this momentum from a massive win over the Nuggets into their contest against the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night.
For all the latest on Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, and the Dallas Mavericks, stay tuned.
