To finish off their short road trip ahead of having seven straight games at the AAC, the Dallas Mavericks took down the Golden State Warriors by a score of 132-122.

Luka Doncic shined in the win dropping 39 points, 10 assists, and eight rebounds with a block and steal as well. Dereck Lively II also managed to record his sixth double-double of his rookie season.

Dante Exum had a great game with 19 points and five assists while shooting 75 percent from the field and 60 percent from behind the arc, but it was his fellow Aussie teammate, Josh Green who caught all Mavs fans' attention.

After missing 12 games this season due to an elbow injury, in his second game, Green made a huge impact for the Mavericks. Green had 18 points and two assists while shooting 6-8 from the field and 3-4 from behind the three-point line. He also managed to shoot perfectly from the free-throw line.

Green was an asset for the Mavs on both sides of the floor in the win tonight. He scored at all three levels and managed to create his own shot. The Australian guard continues to show why he’s also one of the best downhill-driving players in the NBA.

When Green is knocking down corner shots he becomes a very beneficial player to have on the court for Luka Doncic, who showcased his phenomenal passing skills.

If Green can continue to play with confidence and shoot the ball at a high rate, expect Jason Kidd to have some serious thoughts about his closing lineups in the future. Green was someone who many fans wanted to be traded, but tonight proved he can be an essential piece for Dallas.

Fans need to be a bit more optimistic about Green's future, as he has great potential and is just getting back into the swing of things after his injury.
