Last night, the Dallas Mavericks took care of business on the road as they defeated the Houston Rockets to improve to 45-29 on the year.

Dallas has now won seven games in a row, and no one should want to see this team in the playoffs. Game by game, they continue to prove that they are legit contenders, and Luka Doncic is at the head of it all.

Last night, Doncic dropped 47 points on 18-30 shooting, grabbed 12 rebounds, and dished out seven assists. No one on the Rockets could guard Doncic, and in the game before, he dominated as well.

Broadcaster throws unwarranted and rude jab at Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic

Doncic finished with 26 points, nine rebounds, and 12 assists on Friday night against the Sacramento Kings and ended his night by talking some smack to former Kings GM Vlade Divac. Divac passed on Doncic in the 2018 NBA Draft, and Doncic clearly hasn't forgotten about it.

While Doncic's dominance was one of the main talking points from this game, one thing that isn't being talked about is a comment that Kings broadcaster Mark Jones made about Doncic during the game on the air.

"There was a Luka Doncic sighting around downtown Sacramento at Golden Corral," Jones said. "That bufffet is no joke."

This was Jones trying to take a stab at Doncic's physique during this game, and at the time that he made this comment, the Kings were up by 11 points.

Doncic's playing weight is something that always seems to get talked about at some point or another during the regular season as Dallas talked to Doncic about him decreasing his weight in the past, but this season was different.

Doncic was deemed "skinny Luka" this summer for how hard he trained and the shape that he was in, and this is a lazy take by Jones. He was just looking for something bad to say about Doncic, but Doncic got the last laugh as he led the Mavs to a 107-103 victory over the Kings.

Dallas' next game is tomorrow against the Golden State Warriors.
