The Dallas Mavericks are looking to build on last season’s run to the conference finals, and there is plenty to be excited about in the team’s 43rd campaign.

Luka Doncic wants to lead the team to a championship in head coach Jason Kidd’s second season, and the 23-year-old superstar is the favorite to win MVP. Fans have already seen number 77's defensive improvements, and that alone makes the Mavs a feared team.

With the Mavericks primed for another postseason berth, there are plenty of intriguing matchups ahead, including hosting the Los Angeles Lakers on Christmas Day where the team will unveil Dirk Nowitzki’s statue outside the American Airlines. There will be plenty of excitement and cannot miss action this season.
