Dallas Mavericks: What to watch for in final preseason game vs. Timberwolves

The Dallas Mavericks swept the Bucks in two straight games in Milwaukee to begin the preseason. Fans saw a magical third quarter from Luka Doncic in the second outing to propel Dallas to victory. The team looks to be locking as the regular season approaches.

The Mavs have their final preseason game on Dec. 17 as they host the Minnesota Timberwolves. Dallas fans will get a look at number one overall pick Anthony Edwards and how he is pairing with All-Star big man Karl-Anthony Towns.

Kristaps Porzingis remains out for the Mavs. Coach Carlisle noted that Wesley Iwundu missed practiced on Wednesday, but he should be ready for Thursday’s game. Courtney Lee has not yet played this preseason after signing late with the Mavericks. Consider Lee and Iwundu questionable for Dallas’ final preseason game.

D’Angelo Russell was been ruled out with an ankle injury. Naz Reid missed Minnesota’s last game and should be considered questionable against the Mavs. The Timberwolves look otherwise healthy heading into the contest.
