Dallas Mavericks: Kristaps Porzingis shows off new court and logo
The Dallas Mavericks are excited about year two with Kristaps Porzingis. The Unicorn averaged 20.4 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks this season, but he spent the first part of the year knocking off the rust after 20 months away from basketball plus adjusting to playing with the Mavs. He produced over 30 points per game during the seeding games in Orlando. A healthy Porzingis will be scary for the rest of the NBA.
The 25-year-old tearing his meniscus in the playoffs was devastating. KP tried hard to return to the court, but he missed the final three games of the Mavericks first-round series. There will always be the what-if with his health. The positive news is Porzingis avoided surgery and has been spotted working out on Instagram. Expect him back 100 percent to start next season.
Porzingis is giving back in his native country of Latvia and debuted his new Adidas logo. Fans have to check it out.

Porzingis through his foundation had another fresh basketball court built in Latvia. At mid-court is his new Adidas logo. Fans got a first glimpse on his Instagram story on Wednesday. They can check it out here.
The logo is awesome. Expect to see some merchandise forthcoming featuring it. It will be a must get for Mavericks fans.
One thing to watch next season is the Unicorn’s 3-point shooting. He connected on 39.5 percent from downtown during his All-Star season in 2018. Porzingis shot just 34.6 percent during his first two years and 35.2 percent this season. He upped it to 36.1 percent over his final 26 regular-season games. Where does KP land in 2021? Shooting closer to 37 percent makes the Mavericks offense unstoppable. It will be something to keep an eye on.
