Dallas Mavericks guard Seth Curry is back in the lineup against the Milwaukee Bucks

The Dallas Mavericks are off to a rough start from Orlando. They have just one win in four games. Seth Curry has also struggled. The starting guard scored just three points in the opener versus the Rockets as Curry missed all four of his field goal attempts. He bounced back with 16 points against the Suns before injury struck.

Curry missed two straight games with what the team called “right leg soreness”. The Mavericks split the pair. They sorely missed Curry against the LA Clippers. His shooting and floor spacing would have made a massive impact against one of the NBA’s best defenses.

The Mavs are back in action on Saturday night against the Milwaukee Bucks. Before tipoff, the team got some positive news about both starters that were on the injury report. Let us take a look.

Seth Curry is set to return to the Dallas Mavericks lineup against the Milwaukee Bucks

In his pregame press conference, Mavs coach Rick Carlisle shared this update on Curry and Dorian Finney-Smith courtesy of Brad Townsend. Both players were listed as questionable on the injury report.

It is fantastic news that both men will be in the lineup. The Mavericks should be at full strength against Milwaukee on Saturday night. Fans should keep an eye on how many minutes the 29-year-old guard can handle.

The Mavs will be back in the playoffs. They need Seth Curry healthy with his shot locked in from the jump. The Mavericks are likely to face the LA Clippers in the first round. Doing so without a full-strength Curry will mean a quick exit for Dallas. Hopefully, Saturday’s game is the first step to getting him right.
