The Dallas Mavericks wrap up their scrimmage schedule on Tuesday against the Philadelphia 76ers. They split the first two games. The Mavs topped the Lakers before failing to the Pacers on Sunday.

Kristaps Porzingis missed the last game after failing to report for his novel coronavirus test. He expected to be back in action against the Sixers.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Philadelphia 76ers injury update

The Mavs had just 11 healthy players for their last game. Fans know Dwight Powell, Jalen Brunson, and Courtney Lee will not play in Orlando. Porzingis, Trey Burke, and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist were also out.

KP will be back against the Sixers. Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle had this to say about Burke and MKG via Brad Townsend from inside the bubble.

The Sixers were without Joel Embiid and Raul Neto in their scrimmage on Sunday against the Thunder. Glenn Robinson III played just seven minutes because of a hip problem. All three practiced on Monday, though. Philadelphia may be fully healthy heading into the game.

Hopefully, Porzingis and Embiid return for Tuesday’s scrimmage. That means it will be a battle of two of the best duos in the NBA. Ben Simmons will likely matchup on Luka Doncic plenty. Expect KP and Embiid to go head-to-head as well. That promises to make it a fun game.

The Mavericks will be looking to make some final adjustments before the games that count begin. Their slate kicks off on July 31 against the Houston Rockets. Fans know how important that game will be. Expect the Mavs to be ready.
