Dallas had the right to match any offer, but it was shocking when they signed him to a three-year deal worth $12 million total. 3-and-D wings often get $10 million a season on the open market. Fans can go back in time and read our instant grade for the signing here.
Finney-Smith took the bargain to another level this season. He became an unquestioned starter. Doe-Doe’s biggest improvement came in his shooting. He hit 37.4 percent from 3-point range which transformed him into a player every team covets.
