The Dallas Mavericks continue their four-game road trip on Friday night in Miami against the Heat. The Mavs have won two straight and four of their last five coming in.

It has been the exact opposite for the Heat. They have lost two straight and four of their last five. The Heat have won 23 of their 27 home games this season, though. Expect Jimmy Butler and company to make it tough on the Mavericks on Friday night.

Luka Doncic had a 26-point triple-double in the win over the Spurs on Wednesday. He went to the locker room in the first quarter after hurting his thumb, but returned and continued balling out. It was an outstanding performance for the Mavs star.

Fans were wondering if the injury would have any lingering effects, though. Here is the latest.

Luka questionable

The Dallas Mavericks released their official injury report on Feb. 27 and listed Luka Doncic questionable to face the Miami Heat. They classified it as a left thumb sprain.

Both downplayed the injury, so supporters should not be too worried. It sounds like Luka will be ready to suit up in Miami.

It is worth keeping an eye on it, though. Doncic was clearly in some discomfort against the Spurs. Friday night could be worse. It is something to monitor against the Heat.
