The Dallas Mavericks picked up an impressive win on Feb. 26 in San Antonio against the Spurs. Here are three takeaways from that game.

The Dallas Mavericks traveled to San Antonio to face the Spurs on Wednesday evening. It was the first of a four-game road trip for the Mavericks. They travel to Miami, Minneapolis, and Chicago before returning home.

The Mavs certainly wanted to get the road trip kicked off on the right foot. They won the first two meetings against the Spurs this season. It was the first matchup in San Antonio, though. The Mavericks had not won at the AT&T Center since Jan. 2017.

Dallas ended the drought on Feb. 26. They earned the 109-103 victory for their 36th win on the season. It was actually a rough shooting night for the Mavs. They finished at just 41.9 percent, but they shared the ball and grabbed a W.

The Spurs were down double-digits for much of the game but stormed back in the fourth quarter to tie it at 96. Things looked a bit shaky for the Mavericks. They quickly righted the ship and propelled themselves to victory.

There were lots of incredible performances too. Kristaps Porzingis led all scorers with 28. Luka Doncic had a 26-point triple-double. Dorian Finney-Smith produced 14 points, two steals, and three blocks. The Spurs DeMar DeRozan finished with 27 and narrowly missed a triple-double.
