Luka Doncic came out strong in the first quarter. He had his playmaking locked in all night. Doncic found Dwight Powell for a dunk to start off the game.

He finished with five assists in the first quarter. Luka also had seven points and four rebounds. It became apparent early that he was going to secure his 12th triple-double.

The 20-year-old’s had another incredible dime when he found Maxi Kleber for a wide-open three off a no-look pass in the opening quarter.

He followed it up with an unbelievable assist in the third quarter to Dorian Finney-Smith for a 3-pointer.

Doncic impacted the game all over the court on Jan. 15. His 17 assists accounted for 41 Mavs points. He netted 25 of his own. That means Luka had a direct hand in 66 of the Mavericks 127 points against the Kings.

The Mavs star excelled in the paint on Wednesday evening. He hit seven of his eight field goals from there. Doncic is adapting his game when he knows his outside shot is not falling. He gets to the rim and creates easy points. That is one of the main reasons Luka is third in the NBA in scoring this season.

It was certainly a night worth remembering for Doncic.
