Dallas Mavericks rookie Luka Doncic can not be stopped. The 20-year-old is having a rookie season for the ages. Doncic continues to impress every game and gives Mavs fans hope about the future with him leading the charge.
The Mavericks hosted the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday evening. That meant matching up against former Mav Harrison Barnes.
Dallas was coming off a blowout win against the defending champion Golden State Warriors that saw Luka produce 23 points, 11 rebounds, and ten assists for a triple-double. He had another massive night in store against the Kings.
Luka Doncic had his seventh triple-double of the season on March 26. He produced 28 points, 12 rebounds, and 12 assists in 36 minutes on Tuesday. Doncic failed to make any of his nine 3-point attempts but hit ten of 11 from the free throw line. The foul shooting was positive given his struggles this season. Luka can shoot too well to struggle from the charity stripe.
The game ended on a sour note for the Mavericks. They blew a late eight-point lead to fall to the Kings 125-121 on their home court. Dallas has won just one of their last 12 games and continues to struggle down the stretch.

Anytime you tied Hall of Famer Magic Johnson that is special. Doncic is on a historic pace when it comes to triple-doubles that is unlikely to stop. The 20-year-old has special passing ability. Luka can rebound well because of his height and high basketball IQ. The scoring will never be an issue as Doncic is averaging over 21 points per game as a rookie.
Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic had his seventh triple-double against the Kings on March 26. He should be the unanimous Rookie of the Year selection. Doncic has performed at an All-Star level from day one. The future is bright in Dallas, and Luka is the primary reason.
Expect plenty more triple-doubles and highlights from Doncic. Fans will dream about his potential all summer. The team should be poised for a playoff push next season behind Luka and Kristaps Porzingis. The excitement about Mavericks basketball is about to explode, so please keep supporting.
