The Dallas Mavericks square off against the Boston Celtics on Nov. 24, and here is how fans can watch the matchup between Luka Doncic and Jayson Tatum.

The Dallas Mavericks look to even out their record after 18 games with a home win against the Boston Celtics tonight.  The Mavs have won six of their last eight including their most recent contest over the Brooklyn Nets.  Improved defense and the return to form of Harrison Barnes have been Dallas’ calling cards to victory.  They look to continue that against the Celtics.

Boston is off to a poor start and facing an unfriendly schedule.  The Celtics are on the second of a back-to-back after facing the Hawks on Friday night.  They have just two wins in six tries against Western Conference opponents this season as well.  Boston is still one of the most talented teams in the NBA, so the Mavs will have to earn the victory tonight.

Here is how fans can watch the contest between the Dallas Mavericks and the Boston Celtics.

Start Time

Tonight’s contest is another Mavs Saturday Night inside the American Airlines Center, and the game begins at 8:30 p.m. ET or 7:30 local time.

How to watch

Local fans in Texas can watch Saturday’s game on Fox Sports Southwest-Dallas.  In Boston, viewing is available on NBC Sports-Boston.

Fubo TV is a fantastic outlet to stream the game because it features NBA League Pass plus all your favorite networks and TV shows.

Local Mavs fans can stream on the Fox Sports App.  Boston residences can download the My Teams App or follow this link.

Matchup to follow- Doncic vs. Tatum

Fans should be salivating about this matchup because it features two of the league’s premier young talents.  Ironically, they were both drafted third overall and part of a trade to end up on their respective teams.  Mavericks rookie Luka Doncic is the favorite to win Rookie of Year and continues to prove why he is a future star.  The Celtics feature 20-year-old Jayson Tatum who continues to transform himself into a future All-Star.

They figure to matchup on each other plenty in tonight’s game.  The injury status of Al Horford could change things, but expect Tatum to play plenty of power forward if Horford is out.

Doncic usually performs his best on the brightest stages.  A Saturday night game against the historic Boston Celtics in front of the home crowd sounds like the perfect setting for a massive game from number 77.  Fans are not going to want to miss it.

Final thoughts

The matchup between the Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics should be a ton of fun.  The Mavs should have the advantage down low.  Expect a tremendous rebounding performance from DeAndre Jordan.

The contest is packed with intriguing matchups.  Kyrie Irving against Dennis Smith Jr. is one worth watching.  Also, the Celtics feature All-Star Gordon Hayward who is slowly rounding into form after last season’s freak injury.  That makes the matchup on Barnes and Doncic both worth monitoring throughout the game.

Anytime the Celtics come to Dallas it is a ton of fun, but this year should be a stellar matchup.  The Mavericks are looking to get to .500, and that should only add a bit of spice to the proceedings.  Be sure to tune in, enjoy the game, and check back with The Smoking Cuban after the final whistle for all the analysis on the Dallas Mavericks.
