The Dallas Mavericks hit the road to face the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday, Nov. 19, and here is how fans can watch that game.

The Dallas Mavericks open the week with a trip to Memphis to face the division rival Grizzlies.  The Mavs are riding a four-game winning streak including impressive victories over the Warriors, Thunder, and a 50-point destruction of the Jazz.  There may be no hotter team in the NBA than the Mavericks.

The Grizzlies have been fantastic this season.  They have won three straight games and ten of their first 15 to open the season.  Memphis is particularly strong at home where they have lost just once in their seven tries.  Mike Conley and Marc Gasol are both healthy and leading the Grizzlies who are once again a top-five defensive team in the league.

Storyline to follow- Battle of top-five rookies

The Mavericks traded up to the third overall pick to draft Luka Doncic this offseason.  The next name called was Jaren Jackson Jr. heading to the Memphis Grizzlies.  Both men are starting and proving to be worthy picks at 19 years old.

Mavs fans know the historic play that Doncic has put forward through 15 games.  He is averaging 19.5 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 2.4 3-pointers made, 0.9 steals, and 3.9 turnovers per game in 33.7 minutes a night.  Doncic is shooting 46.7 percent from the field, 37.9 percent on 3-pointers, and 76.7 percent from the foul line.  Expect a massive season from Luka that ends in winning the Rookie of the Year award.

Jackson Jr. stands out more on the defensive end of the floor.  He is averaging 1.3 steals and 1.7 blocks per game.  JJJ also has an impressive defensive rating of 101.  Memphis got a rare talent that should grow into an exceptional NBA player.

Tonight will be the first of many meetings between the two prized rookies.  Hopefully, Luka Doncic and the Mavericks grab the upper hand.

Final thoughts

The Dallas Mavericks are looking for their fifth straight win in Memphis on Monday.  The Grizzlies are going to want to slow the pace down and play stingy defense against the Mavericks.  Dallas cannot let this happen.  Luka Doncic needs to push the ball and create transition opportunities for the Mavs.  It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

The battle down low between Marc Gasol and DeAndre Jordan should also be exciting.  Expect Gasol to try to get Jordan out of the paint plenty this evening.  The Grizzlies know that is the most effective way to score on the Mavericks.
