The NBA All-Star Weekend is shaping up to be full of entertainment, but only one person/team can win each competition. The Smoking Cuban staff takes their picks on who will leave with the hardware in the Skills Contest, the Three-Point Shootout, the Dunk Contest, and the All-Star Game.

There are few weekends in sports more exciting than NBA All-Star weekend, and there are certainly no other sports that bring the excitement to the All-Star game like the NBA does. The big game on Sunday is always fun and entertaining, but it is undoubtedly outshone by the festivities on Saturday night.

Everyone looks forward to the NBA Dunk Contest. Over the last few years, the Dunk Contest has fluctuated between entertaining and boring, but this year appears to be an exciting one, as some real high-flyers look to bring home the trophy.

The three-point shootout is never the most exciting competition, but everyone wants to know who is going to take home the title. With a wide array of sharpshooters coming into the competition this year, it could be one of the best competitions we have seen in many years.

The skills contest has become a more exciting competition over the years and there is a bunch of talent present this year. The cross between guards and big men make it more fun and competitive, while the names make it relevant.

The All-Star game has gone through an interesting transformation over the years and now the league is trying hard to make it more relevant with the draft instead of east vs. west. Although the format has its critics, this game should still have entertainment value overall.

The Dallas Mavericks only have one player participating tonight, but it will be fun to watch all the contests. Here are the staff picks for the winner of each even this weekend.
