The 2021 NBA Draft is in the books. The first surprise came with the Lakers trading for Russell Westbrook, but it did not stop there. Toronto made the first jaw-dropping selection by taking Scottie Barnes at fourth overall. It was a wild event filled with many surprises.

The Dallas Mavericks did not make a pick in this draft. They traded their first-round selection to the Knicks in the Kristaps Porzingis deal and shipped their seconder rounder away at the deadline. The Mavs sat out this draft as they prepare for a crucial free agency period.
