Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic was going off on the Pelicans on Thursday night before suffering a heel injury midway through the third quarter. He tried to stay in the game, but couldn’t and was quickly ruled out for the remainder of the contest. Mavericks fans held their breath as New Orleans made a massive comeback, but Dallas hung on for the narrow victory.
Doncic had an MRI on his heel on Friday, and he did not travel with the team to San Francisco. Tim MacMahon noted the injury is not severe, but he did not put a timetable on Luka’s return to the floor.

The 6’10 forward is hoping to return on Monday night. Davis Bertans is out after injuring his left calf on Thursday night, and Maxi Kleber remains sidelined with a hamstring injury.
Spencer Dinwiddie was listed as questionable on the injury report, but he will play on Saturday evening.
The Warriors will be without Andre Iguodala on Saturday night. They listed Draymond Green (calf) and Klay Thompson (illness) as questionable to face the Mavs, and Stephen Curry is probable with a leg contusion.
