7. Luka Doncic & Kyrie Irving
Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving are the next duo on the list. After half a season, the Dallas Mavericks are still trying to figure out the duo's true potential.
During their first season together, Doncic and Irving performed well offensively. Doncic averaged a career-high 32.4 points game, while shooting 49.6 percent from the court.
Irving on the other poured in 27 points per game and knocked down 39 percent of his 3-pointers.
In most viewers' eyes, this would be considered a success. However, the problem was the Dallas duo struggled to find a connection.
During Doncic and Irving's first couple of games together, Dallas struggled to find a primary ball handler. Doncic would be hesitant to take the last shot or pass the ball to Irving.
People really said Luka couldn’t play off the ball (when he did it overseas).

This season, things have been different between the two. The chemistry between Doncic and Irving has improved, as they can better understand each other on the court.
Dallas currently has the third-best record in the league and leads the league in 3-point percentage. They also average 123.4 points per game, the second-highest in the league. A big part of their success this season has been Irving and Doncic.
While the season may be young, the Dallas' duo has a chance to take the team to the next level.
So, what are the chances Doncic and Irving continue to climb this list in the next couple of years?
