Brunson has been the Mavs' second-best player for significant stretches this season, so parting ways with the 6’1 guard would be difficult. JB is rumored to be searching for $80 million in free agency, and Dallas may not be willing to pay that price given their cap crunch.

Grant is a versatile 6’8 forward that can handle the ball, space the floor, and score. He is a proven defender that wants to maintain a significant offensive role if he is dealt away from Detroit.
