9. Maxi Kleber

At this point in his career, it's extremely hard to gauge Maxi Kleber's trade value moving forward.

On one hand, Kleber is a good stretch five who can guard multiple positions and was crucial for the Mavs early in the 2024 playoffs. On the other hand, Kleber has been injury-prone over the last couple of years, and his play has steadily declined. He isn't the same player he once was, and a future without Kleber in it seems more and more likely for the Mavs when you consider his age, declining play, and constant injuries.

Last season for Dallas, Kleber averaged 4.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks per game while shooting 34.8 percent from downtown. Kleber had a rough start to the year, and tearing his hamstring in the 2022-23 season combined with his toe injury and shoulder injury last season don't mix well.

Kleber has two years left on his $33 million extension he signed after the Mavs' 2022 playoff run, and $11 million annually is decent value, but he hasn't necessarily lived up to that money recently.

It's hard to gauge exactly what Kleber's trade value is at this point, but I don't think he is someone who teams will be blowing up the phones for. He is already 32 years old and has only played 47 games per season on average over the last four seasons.

Kleber still provides great value on the floor for Dallas when fully healthy, but he doesn't seem to be the seemingly coveted trade asset he once was.
