The Dallas Mavericks picked up a massive win over the Utah Jazz on Sunday night that vaulted them into fourth in the Western Conference. It also opened the door for Dallas to move up to third if things break right over the final seven regular-season games. The Mavs are 1.5 games back of the Warriors, but they hold the tiebreaker by winning three of the four meetings this season.

Jalen Brunson was outstanding against the shorthanded Jazz as he went off for 22 points on seven of 15 shooting from the field, five assists, and tied a season-high with 10 rebounds. The Mavs outscored Utah by 15 in Brunson’s 32 minutes on the floor, and the Jazz had no answer when JB attacked.

Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons has been supporting the Mavericks all season, and the All-Pro was tuned in on Sunday night for the crucial contest contest against the Jazz. He took to Twitter to share some thoughts on the Mavs, including making a hilarious comparison about Brunson’s game.

The 2021 Defensive Rookie of the Year was enjoying the Mavs dominating victory on Sunday night when he Tweeted this about superstar Luka Doncic.

Doncic went off 32 points, including a halftime buzzer-beating 3-pointer that may have spurred the Mavericks' second-half dominance. He was not going to let his team lose on March 27, and Parsons was enjoying every second of it.

The All-Pro linebacker made a hilarious comparison between Jalen Brunson and a rec league player during Sunday’s contest too.

Parsons was clearly having a bit of fun with JB during his standout performance. The 6’1 guard has an incredible ability to create the smallest amount of space to sink his shots. He is a crafty finisher around the basket, and it has been a treat to enjoy his fourth-year breakout into a starter and key contributor for the Mavericks.

Jalen Brunson is an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and he will have plenty of suitors on the open market. Can the Dallas Mavericks convince him to stay and continue improving next to Luka Doncic? It is one of the many storylines to follow closely this offseason, but there will be plenty of basketball to enjoy beforehand, so do not miss it.
