The Dallas Mavericks are gearing up for the fourth season with Luka Doncic leading their charge. The 22-year-old is fresh off helping his country to the Olympic semifinals and looks locked in even during preseason action. He wants to lift the Mavs into title contention this season and appears ready to do just that.

Fans know Luka loves sneakers. He signed a massive deal with Jordan Brand back in 2019, and the Mavericks superstar is always wearing the latest and best kicks from the company. Doncic has his own logo and colorway on the Air Jordan 36’s, but supporters are patiently waiting for his first signature shoe.

Luka joined Joe La Puma from Complex to talk all things sneakers, and to buy some new shoes for a young fan. Let us take a closer look.

Doncic discussed his favorite pairs as a kid, shoes in Slovenia, and his sneaker free agency in the interview. He also talked about designing sneakers during his downtime in school. Luka was asked about getting his own signature shoe, and fans can see his reply below.

"I can’t tell you nothing, but hopefully, soon. "

La Puma followed up by asking the Mavericks superstar what those shoes might look like, and Doncic responded with this.

"I have some ideas. I mean I had those ideas since I was a little kid, so I have them. "

Fans are pumped for Luka to get his own shoes. The colorways Jordan has released have been outstanding, but are difficult for Mavs fans to get their hands on. His signature shoe should be on the horizon, and supporters know that is it going to fire.

Luka also bought five pairs of shoes for a Dallas Mavericks fan in the video, which supporters can watch below.

Luka Doncic will have his on-court game and shoe game locked in at the start of the 2021-2022 regular season. Fans will be watching both closely this year, and should stay tuned to The Smoking Cuban for all the latest.
