The Dallas Mavericks want superstar Luka Doncic to have the ball in his hands late in games and to take the last shot. The 22-year-old is one of the best offensive creators in basketball, but he believes he should have another role on the team.

The team posted a video on Jan. 11 asking each player about who they do not want to control the music. Luka thinks everyone wants to listen to his jams, despite Reggie Bullock and Frank Ntilikina voting the Mavs superstar as the player not to give their aux cord to.

Only five players received votes, and it was a tie at the top with five votes. Here is a closer look at the results.

Brunson and Boban Marjanovic each received five votes, but Tim Hardaway Jr. took his vote of Bobi back to select JB. Brunson loves to play Justin Bieber, and the rest of the team is not a fan. Dwight Powell and Dorian Finney-Smith each received one vote from their teammates, and supporters can see the video below.

Luka caught some heat for playing Serbian music that most of the team does not understand. The 22-year-old superstar loves to have fun, and fans can bet he can DJ too. Jalen Brunson is having a breakout season on the court, so he should keep listening to whatever music he is currently enjoying. The 25-year-old has forced his way into the starting five and is averaging 16.0 points, 5.6 assists, and 3.7 rebounds in 30.7 minutes per game. JB keeps improving, and the best is still yet to come from the fourth-year point guard.

Luka Doncic is still not playing his best basketball, but the Dallas Mavericks have won six straight. Who will be controlling the music at the team’s next workout? Fans can bet it won’t be Brunson or Boban.
