Mavericks: Boban Marjanovic takes on LEGO Super Mario challenge

The Dallas Mavericks brought Boban Marjanovic off the bench as they were struggling to protect the rim with Kristaps Porzingis and Maxi Kleber out, and the 7’4 big man delivered. He had 17 points and five rebounds in 14.8 minutes of action to help Dallas pick up the victory over the rival Spurs.

Bobi can be a game-changer off the bench. His size and soft touch make him a problem in the paint. Fans witnessed the impact he can make in last season’s playoffs as he was inserted into the starting five as the Clippers went small. Expect Marjanovic to lift the Mavs to a few more wins this season.

Whistle is putting on LEGO Super Mario in real life where athletes team up and complete challenges. Boban is on Team LEGO Mario with gymnast Katelyn Ohashi as they took on soccer star Carli Lloyd and Olympic gold medalist wrestler Jordan Burroughs.

The first episode was a blast to watch as Marjanovic’s fun-loving personality shines through on multiple occasions. Fans can watch it below.

Boban Marjanovic will continue in his third center role for the Dallas Mavericks. He will not play in every game, but the 7’4 big man is going to make a massive impact when his number gets called. New head coach Jason Kidd has played Bobi in four of the first eight games. It will be interesting to see if that continues throughout the 82-game season.
