The Dallas Mavericks will be out superstar Luka Doncic for the third straight game as they host the Los Angeles Lakers on Dec. 15. Doncic re-injured his ankle on Dec. 10, and the Mavs have won two consecutive contests without the 22-year-old.

The Lakers have also won two straight and will be shorthanded on Wednesday night. Talen Horton-Tucker, Dwight Howard, and Malik Monk all entered the health and safety protocols on Tuesday. Los Angeles canceled practice to undergo testing and more players could be ruled out before tipoff.

Fans will not want to miss the Dec. 15 as LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook invade the American Airlines Center. Here is a look at the odds, how to watch, and more on the contest.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Los Angeles Lakers predictions

The Mavs winning streak ends as the Lakers take the victory at the American Airlines Center. Expect the game to go under 214, and LeBron James to lead the way for Los Angeles with 25-plus points as he narrowly misses a triple-double.

The Mavericks will get 20 points from Kristaps Porzingis and an 18-point double-double out of Jalen Brunson, but it will not be enough on Wednesday night.

Fans should tune in and enjoy the game. It will not be Luka versus LeBron, but there will be plenty of excitement at the American Airlines Center on Dec. 15, so do not miss it.
