The Dallas Mavericks dominated the Detroit Pistons from the opening tipoff on Tuesday night. Superstar Luka Doncic stayed white-hot, and there was no stopping him at the American Airlines Center. Luka had a 33-point double-double after three quarters as he led the Mavs to a 116-86 victory on Feb. 8.

Doncic showed off every facet of his game against the Pistons. Luka drilled five 3-pointers, was making plays all over the floor, got to the rim at will, and played strong defense. The 22-year-old finished with 33 points, 11 assists, seven rebounds, one steal, and two blocks in 33 minutes of action. The Mavericks massive advantage allowed head coach Jason Kidd to take number 77 out early in the fourth quarter and rest him down the stretch.

It was an impressive performance from Luka Doncic and the Mavs on Tuesday night. Here is a closer look at the game, and what fans can expect moving forward.
