Is Luka Doncic playing tonight? Latest on his thigh injury and status on March 13
By Tyler Watts
Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic is dealing with a thigh injury that kept him out of Saturday’s loss to the Grizzlies. The 24-year-old made the injury worse in the March 8 loss to the Pelicans, but he is getting treatment in hopes of returning in short order. Luka's MRI was clean, so he is waiting for the pain to subside before getting back into action.
The Mavs need number 77 to return as soon as possible. They are currently tied for seventh in the Western Conference, but just one game behind sixth, which avoids the Play-In Tournament. The Mavs are also one game ahead of missing the postseason entirely with 14 contests left in the regular season. Dallas needs every win down the stretch, and they will be difficult to get without LD.
Will Luka face the Grizzlies at the American Airlines Center on Monday night? When can fans expect him back in the lineup? Here is a look at the latest on his thigh injury.

Doncic was again ruled out a full 24 hours before tipoff. He will not play against the Grizzlies on Monday night, and his next chance to play is on Wednesday in San Antonio.

When is Luka Doncic coming back?
It appears that Doncic will miss at least two more games. The Mavericks have zero reasons to send him to San Antonio on Wednesday night. Let Luka rest in hopes that he can play on Friday night against the Lakers. It will give him more than one week off since suffering the injury, which is hopefully enough.
