Luka always brings his A-game when facing Damian Lillard, and Dec. 16 was no different. Number 77 finished with 33 points, nine assists, and six rebounds in 29 minutes of action. He was 11 of 18 from the field, including sinking five 3-pointers. The Mavs outscored Portland by 16 with Luka on the floor, but it was a Doncic dunk that was the viral moment.

It was just the team’s second win in seven tries without Maxi Kleber, and the Mavs snapped the Blazers' three-game winning streak.
Dallas starting center Dwight Powell suffered a thigh injury during Friday’s game, so the Mavs needed more minutes from Christian Wood, and the big man delivered against Portland. He scored 32 points on 11 of 17 shooting from the field with 12 rebounds and two blocks in 30 minutes of action.
The Dallas Mavericks shot 55.6 percent from the field and 41.9 percent from 3-point range in the win. It was an impressive performance that pushed the team to 15-14 on the season and moved them to 12-5 at the American Airlines Center.
