The Dallas Mavericks still have to play a basketball game, but it may fall as the fifth biggest story of the day. The headliner stealer was trading Kristaps Porzingis to the Washington Wizards for Spencer Dinwiddie and Davis Bertans. Dallas also signed Dorian Finney-Smith to an extension and are rumored to be favorites to land Goran Dragic after he is bought out. Superstar Luka Doncic finding what All-Star team he will play on also happened on Feb. 10.

Doncic was selected by LeBron James for the third straight year as he was the King’s first pick in the reserve draft. It will be the first time that Doncic is not a starter in the All-Star game. The 22-year-old superstar will come off the bench on Feb. 20 in Cleveland.

It is a deep backcourt for Team LeBron as Luka will fight for minutes with Stephen Curry, DeMar DeRozan, Chris Paul, Donovan Mitchell, James Harden, Darius Garland, and Fred VanVleet. Team James will likely close the contest with Curry and CP3 in the backcourt.

Doncic will look to put on a show with his passing and shooting ability on Feb. 20, but fans should not expect a monster stat line in the contest as Luka is likely to play limited minutes. Expect a highlight or two from the Mavs guard.
